Shaka Electric is a locally owned electrical contractor serving properties within 25 miles of Coeur d'Alene. We help with everything from a stubborn breaker or lighting problem to remodel planning, custom homes, and commercial build-outs.
All of it rests on two things you learn growing up in a community like this: people come first, and your word is everything.
What this community taught us
Here in Kootenai County, people remember how you treated them. Your reputation travels faster than any advertisement. When you say you will be there Tuesday at 8:00, you should be there Tuesday at 8:00.
If people cannot trust you, there is no reason for them to work with you. That is the standard behind Shaka Electric and the kind of company we are building for the long term.
We talk before we build
Most electrical surprises can be avoided with a good conversation up front. Before recommending equipment or a larger scope, we want to know how you use the space, what is not working today, and what you may need five years from now.
Then we agree on the scope together. If something changes, you hear about it right away - not when the invoice arrives. For a homeowner, that might mean lighting that fits daily routines or preparing for an EV charger. For a builder, it means settling electrical details before rough-in. For a business owner, it means coordinating around employees, customers, and operating hours.
